Getting Started

I said yes. I said yes to getting started with bettering myself, getting stronger and feeling healthier. I said yes to pursuing myself. I said yes to doing what makes my heart happy.

Well, I said yes, but I'm continuing to say yes. I did. I am. And I will.
So, getting started isn't always easy, nor is it always a straight shot. There's a lot of information, a lot to take in, and sometimes it costs money. But, it's an investment. It's a way of guaranteeing yourself opportunities that you may have never even considered before. Getting started opens doors to a community of people who will give you endless support and encouragement.
With all that to say, I'm posting this today because I'm inviting those who want to pursue themselves for the sake of not just them, but everyone they interact with, because you can't better yourself by staying the same.
If you are interested in getting fit, losing weight, building muscle, adding another element to your fitness routine, or simply trying something new please don't hesitate to reach out. Everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy and positive life. We all deserve the ability to do what makes our hearts happy, and to get stronger mentally and physically.
Additionally, I started a program today called LIIFT4. It's a lifting program with some HIIT (high intensity interval training) and ab elements. Something I am realizing (and loving) about this program is that I get to challenge myself in ways I haven't been challenged before - mentally and physically.
Some things...
You get to change your body, get stronger and be healthier.
We do 4 workouts every week that are between 30 and 40 minutes.
We have 3 rest days.
There's a nutrition plan - that is encouraged to be followed because nutrition is more than half the battle.
There's a huge misconception that lifting makes you bulky, that's only true if you're fueling your body in that way. If you eat the right way for your goal - to get toned or lean or lose weight or build or whatever the goal is - then that's what will happen. You have to eat right. There's also flexibility to do the workouts wherever you are; if you don't have access to dumbbells, just bring your resistance bands and every move can be done with those instead.
So, are you ready to get started and make your heart and body happy?
I will be adding a page to this site called LIIFT4 where I will be tracking my thoughts and progress through the program. I will post my thoughts about the workouts, what I thought was hard, my favorite move and how I feel physically and mentally after the workout.
See you soon!
Xoxo,
Elise
